Project Description
The concept is grounded in research on retail customer behavior and brand positioning.
In Russia, shoppers rarely seek eco-friendly materials consciously — yet, on a sensory level, they long for a connection with nature and the environment.
That’s why the design of Tarkett Store is built around an organic, non-linear layout and a natural aesthetic, combining softness with clear zoning and navigation.
We removed built-in wall displays and replaced them with island modules spread throughout the space.
At the center, a soft “meadow” invites visitors to pause, rest, and reflect on their choice, while porcelain butterflieshover gently above.
The walls feature illustrations and panels made from Tarkett materials, designed to convey the tactile feel of each product and to inspire creativity —
as Tarkett Store is visited not only by private clients but also by interior designers seeking new ideas and material inspiration.
To attract visitors from the shopping mall, we designed window displays showcasing various parquet patterns — from the classic “ship deck” to “French herringbone” and “checkerboard” — illustrating the diversity of Tarkett textures and styles.
The concept is modular and easily adaptable to different retail formats.
Already six Tarkett Stores have been implemented — and this is only the beginning.
